The Board of Supervisors of this Township signifies
its consent to and approval of the request of the Borough of State
College, Centre County, Pennsylvania (the "borough"), to become a
member of the University Area Joint Authority (the "Authority"), under
provisions of the Act of May 2, 1945, P.L. 382, known as the "Municipality
Authorities Act of 1945," as amended and supplemented (the "Act").[1]

The Board of Supervisors of this Township signifies
its approval of the Borough's application to become a member of the
University Area Joint Authority, together with the appropriate joinders
in such application, in substantially the following form.[1]

The Chair or Vice Chair of the Board of Supervisors and Secretary or Assistant Secretary, respectively, of this Township are authorized and directed to execute and acknowledge, in behalf of this Township, the joinder in such application of the Borough, in substantially the form set forth in § 14-8 hereof.
The Board of Supervisors of this Township agrees
and determines that the Board of the Authority, upon admission of
the Borough as a member thereof, shall be six in number and that such
membership shall be apportioned as follows:
