Except as otherwise provided in this Chapter, no person shall
park any vehicle on any public or private property for the purpose
of displaying, advertising, or offering such vehicle for sale or for
the purpose of selling such vehicle.

Exceptions. The provisions of Section
11.52.010 of this Chapter shall not apply to any of the following:
(a) Any person parking no more than one (1) vehicle at a time for the
purpose of advertising such vehicle for sale on property in which
such person has an estate or right of possession, or on the property
of another, with the written consent of the owner or lessee or person
in lawful possession of such property, where there is no more than
one vehicle so parked and displayed at any one time on such property.
(b) Any person licensed pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 3 (commencing
with Section 11500) or Chapter 4 (commencing with Section 11700) of
Division 5 of the
Vehicle Code of the State and operating a place
of business where such business is permitted by the zoning laws of
the City.
(c) Any person parking any vehicle for the purpose specified above on property which is the established place of business of a person licensed as specified in subsection
(b) of this Section, so long as the person parking the vehicle has the consent of the person so licensed.
