This Chapter contains the regulations for the Public Owned Open Space Zone established by the City.

The purpose of this zone is to insure the long-term preservation of the public-owned lands so designated.

(a) 
Property maintenance such as is necessary to maintain subject property in a safe and natural condition.
(b) 
Scientific and educational study consistent with a program developed by competent authority and approved by the City Council.
