The Director of Finance shall identify floodplain development
permit fee revenue in a separate revenue account, and create a new
Building Department expense account entitled "Floodplain Management."
The Building Official shall reflect the balance of these two accounts
in his annual budget requests for staff training, professional memberships,
and public outreach solely for floodplain management issues, with
the intent of balancing and self-funding the relevant floodplain management
activities.
