The Board of Supervisors shall be the official agency referred
to in Section 65401 of the
Government Code.

The Board of Supervisors, as the official agency, delegates
to the County Executive the duty and responsibility as set forth in
Government Code Section 65401 to receive, list and classify from each
County department, office, board and commission and from each special
district and school district within the unincorporated area of the
County all proposed public works programs recommended for planning,
initiation or construction during each fiscal year and to prepare
a coordinated program therefor. The County Executive shall submit
the program to the planning agency for review and report to the Board
of Supervisors as to the conformity with the general plan and community
plans.
