The provisions of this title shall apply to vehicular traffic
upon the roads within the airports of the County in the same manner
and to the same extent as if such roads were public roads, and the
provisions of this title shall apply, when applicable, to standing,
stopping, and parking of vehicles and the enforcement thereof shall
be as provided in this title.

The director is authorized to restrict or prohibit parking within
the airports of the County in the same manner as set forth in this
title for other parking regulations except that the restriction or
prohibition shall be applicable seven days a week, twenty-four hours
a day, when so posted.

The director is authorized to designate certain areas within
County airports for parking by special permit only.
Areas so designated shall be identified by painting curbs red
and by lettering over such painted curb, "Parking By Special Permit
Only." In the alternative a sign bearing the same wording may be used
to identify an area so designated or both signs and curb markings
may be used.
A vehicle which is authorized to be parked in an area restricted
by special permittees shall be identified as prescribed by the Director.

The director shall provide for and install at all County airports,
at all entrances thereto, proper legible signs indicating that vehicles
parked in violation of any of the provisions of this title shall be
towed away. Vehicles parked in violation of any provision of this
title within the confines of any of the airports of this County which
have been posted herein mentioned shall be towed away at the expense
of the owner of the vehicle and without liability to the County for
any damage which may result in the course of such moving.

A peace officer, or any County employee acting under the direction
and control of the Sheriff, may issue a citation for illegal parking
on the premises of Sacramento Metropolitan Airport. The person issuing
the citation shall record on the citation the location the offense
was committed, the nature of the violation, the state vehicle license
number and registration expiration date of the vehicle, the color,
and if possible, the make of the vehicle, and the time and date of
such violation. The person shall then issue in writing a citation
for illegal parking in the same form and subject to the same procedure
provided for by the laws of the State applicable to traffic violations
within the County.
