Classified, temporary, and part-time service employees engaging in outside employment should do so in accordance with their particular department's regulations. Before engaging in outside employment, full-time exempt employees other than the City Administrator shall have their outside employment approved by the City Administrator. Any outside work to be performed by the City Administrator must first be approved by the Board of Aldermen. Employees shall not engage in or accept employment or render any service for private interest when such employment or service is incompatible or creates a conflict of interest with official duties with the City.
