No work on plumbing or drainage installations shall be commenced until the detailed drawings and specifications which are required to be filed under the preceding section shall have been approved by the Plumbing Inspector or such other agent as may be appointed by the Board of Trustees for that purpose.
Subsequent to the filing of the plans and specifications, no modification or amendment shall be permitted unless amended plans and specifications therefor are submitted to and approved by the Plumbing Inspector.
All plumbing and drainage installations must be made in accordance with the provisions of this chapter and such rules and regulations as may be prescribed by the Board of Trustees, the Plumbing Inspector or such other duly authorized agent as may be designated by the said Board.
Plans and specifications shall not be required for repairs or alterations to plumbing or drainage systems in cases where such repairs or alterations do not provide for the installation of vertical or horizontal soil, waste or vent pipes.
