As used in this article, the following terms shall have the indicated meanings:
JUNK MOTOR VEHICLE
Any motor vehicle which is in an abandoned, discarded, dismantled, partly dismantled, junked, wrecked or similar unsightly condition.
A. 
It shall be unlawful for any person to park, store, place or maintain a junk motor vehicle upon any private property within the village unless such junk motor vehicle is parked, stored, placed or maintained in a completely enclosed building.
B. 
It shall be unlawful for any person to cause, permit or allow a junk motor vehicle to be parked, stored, placed or maintained upon any private property within the village unless such junk motor vehicle is parked, stored, placed or maintained in a completely enclosed building.
C. 
The prohibitions set forth in Subsections A and B above shall not be applicable to a motor vehicle which is temporarily stored on premises lawfully used for a motor vehicle service station or motor vehicle repair shop use in compliance with the Village Zoning Code.[1]

Any person who violates this article or fails to comply with any of its requirements shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to the penalties provided in Article II of Chapter 1 of the Code of the Village of Southampton.
