Subdivisions may be classified as minor or major
in accordance with the definitions above. In order to simplify the
procedures of obtaining a minor subdivision for landowners, the town
will permit the submittal and completion of a minor subdivision application,
including a public hearing within three weeks after the applicant
has delivered a complete and fully compliant minor subdivision application
and plats to the Planning Clerk, and assuming that the application
was submitted three weeks prior to the next Planning Board meeting.
Major subdivisions involving private roads or considerable development
will be handled in the most expeditious manner, in accordance with
state and local requirements.
