The Village Clerk, Oxford Town and Village Hall, East State Street, Oxford, New York, will schedule reservations for the use of the large pavilion only. All other facilities are used on a first-come-first-served basis. Scheduling of reservations will be taken beginning March 1 of the year in which the reservation is for. No reservations are taken a year in advance.
Keys for the electricity in case of power failure may be obtained from the Village Clerk.
In accordance with Chapter 73, Alcoholic Beverages, Article I, prohibiting the possession and consumption of alcoholic beverages in public places, in order to have permission to consume or have alcoholic beverages on village property, an application for the consumption of alcoholic beverages on Village of Oxford property must be filled out and approved by the Village Clerk.
In accordance with Article II of this chapter, regarding the closing hour of parks and penalty for trespassing, all village parks are closed to the public between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.
Users are responsible for cleaning and picking up the facilities after their event and leaving them in good condition. All trash and refuse is to be placed in the receptacles provided. Should the facilities need cleaning after use or if there is damage to any of the facilities, cleaning and/or repair costs will be the responsibility of the users. An actual bill of the costs charged to the village by outside contractors will be sent.
If you will be using these facilities after dark, it would be wise to bring your own light bulbs. Paper supplies for the bathrooms also must be furnished by the group using the facility.
Water in the bathrooms is for washing, etc. It is not for drinking. Furnish your own drinking water.
Fundraising and annual events at the village park must be approved by the Village of Oxford Board of Trustees.
The facilities were donated by various local civic organizations, and they would appreciate your respectful use of the facilities.
