Town of Woodbury, NY Article II Enforcement Provisions

§ 230-10 Legislative intent.

It is the intention of this article to promote the general welfare of the people of the Town of Woodbury by providing enforcement provisions and penalties for the enforcement of the rules and regulations adopted by the Town of Woodbury Park and Recreation Commission.

§ 230-11 Findings.

The Town of Woodbury Park and Recreation Commission has adopted rules and regulations for the operation of the parks and recreation areas within the Town of Woodbury which require a legislative enactment of the enforcement provisions of those rules and regulations.

§ 230-12 Penalties for offenses.

Any person committing an offense against any provision of this article shall, upon conviction, be guilty of a violation pursuant to the Penal Law of the State of New York, punishable by a fine not exceeding $250 or by imprisonment for a term not exceeding 15 days, or by both such fine and imprisonment. The continuance of an offense for each day (24 hours) shall be deemed a distinct and separate violation.
