Town of Mount Airy, MD Article III Write-In Candidates

§ 10-22 Write-in candidacy and voting.

A. Eligible voters may cast a write-in vote for any qualified Town citizen to hold an elective office in the Town of Mount Airy.

B. Any individual declaring him- or herself as a write-in candidate must comply with all campaign rules and regulations established by the Town.

C. The Board of Supervisors of Elections shall make every reasonable attempt to determine voter intent. The Board of Supervisors of Elections after review shall make a final determination of the intent of the voter as written on the ballot or as recorded electronically.
