The head of the Department of Fire Prevention
shall be the Director of Fire Prevention, who shall also be the Fire
Official for the Township of Franklin. Said Director of Fire Prevention
shall be appointed by the Township Manager and shall be certified
by the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs as a Fire Official.

Pursuant to Sections 15 and 17 (N.J.S.A. 52:27D-206
and 52:27D-208, respectively) of the Uniform Fire Safety Act, any
person aggrieved by any order of the local enforcement agency shall
have the right to appeal to the Franklin Township Construction Board
of Appeals. In the event that said Franklin Township Construction
Board of Appeals is not constituted, the aggrieved person may appeal
to the County Construction Board of Appeals of the County of Somerset.
