Within the Department of Community Development, and in accordance with Public law 1999, Chapter
180 (N.J.S.A. 4:1C-43.1), there is hereby established an Agricultural Advisory Committee which shall be appointed by the Township Council and shall report to the Municipal Planning Board.

A. The Agricultural Advisory Committee established by this article shall
be composed of five regular members and one alternate member who shall
be residents of the municipality, with a majority of the members actively
engaged in farming and owning a portion of the land they farm.
B. The members of the Municipal Agricultural Advisory Committee shall
be appointed for a one-year term, which term shall expire on December
31 of each year. Members shall serve for their respective terms and
until their successors thereafter have been appointed and qualified.
C. There shall be a Council Liaison who shall be appointed for a one-year
term, which term shall expire on December 31 of each year.
The Agricultural Advisory Committee shall exercise those duties and responsibilities provided for in Public Law 1999, Chapter
180, and shall act as an advisory committee and report directly to the Franklin Township Planning Board.
