In accordance with the provisions of N.J.S.A.
39:4-8 and N.J.S.A. 39:4-197, the following streets shall have the
movement of traffic controlled by the type of regulation indicated.
No person shall operate or park a motor vehicle in violation of the
regulations indicated.
The locations described in Schedule 11 of Article
X, attached to and made a part of this chapter, are hereby designated as bus stops. No vehicle, other than an omnibus, picking up or discharging passengers, shall be permitted to occupy the locations between the hours indicated.

A. In general. The locations described in Schedule 12 of Article
X, attached to and made a part of this chapter, are hereby designated as loading zones. No person shall park a vehicle in the locations listed during the times indicated other than for the loading or unloading of goods and materials.
B. Loading zone restricted to police and other governmental vehicles.
Parking spaces shall be established at the southern terminus of High
Street adjacent to the City Police Administration Building and the
City Municipal Complex. Said spaces shall be designated solely for
the loading and unloading of police, municipal or other governmental
vehicles. Said parking spaces shall be established, marked and signed
consistent with the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices for
Streets and Highways pursuant to N.J.S.A. 39:4-197. No other person
shall park in the aforesaid spaces for loading or unloading or for
any other purpose.
The locations described in Schedule 13 of Article
X, attached to and made a part of this chapter, are hereby designated as taxi stands. No vehicle other than a taxi shall be permitted to occupy the locations during the times indicated.
No person shall park a vehicle except at an angle of 45º head in between the lines designating a parking space upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in Schedule 14 of Article
X, attached to and made a part of this chapter.
Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 39:4-197e, the streets or parts of streets described in Schedule 15 of Article
X, attached hereto and made a part of this chapter, shall have lines installed designating the crosswalks for pedestrian travel.
No person shall stop or stand a vehicle between the hours specified on any day (except Sundays and public holidays) upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in Schedule 16 of Article
X, attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall park a vehicle at any time upon any streets or parts of streets described in Schedule 17 of Article
X, attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall park a vehicle between the hours specified any day (except Sundays and public holidays) upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in Schedule 18 of Article
X, attached hereto and made a part of this chapter.

No motor vehicle as defined in N.J.S.A. 39:1-1
or nonmotorized vehicle, including but not limited to trailers, campers
and/or boats, that exceeds 20 feet in length or seven feet in width
or eight feet in height, or exceeds a gross weight in excess of four
tons shall be parked upon any alley or street within the City, except
as provided herein. This section is not intended to prohibit the parking
of motor vehicles commonly known as "pickup trucks," with or without
cargo caps.
A. Adjacent resident exception. This parking restriction
shall not apply to vehicles actively engaged in delivering products
or rendering services requested by a property owner or resident adjacent
to an alley or street.
B. Emergency vehicle exception. This parking restriction
shall not apply to vehicles actively engaged in rendering emergency
services such as ambulances, fire trucks, and vehicles plowing snow.
C. Loading and unloading exception. This parking restriction
shall not apply to vehicles actively engaged in the loading or unloading
of passengers, merchandise for a business, or materials for a job
site during the period of construction.
D. Public improvement exception. This parking restriction
shall not apply to vehicles owned, operated or authorized by the City,
county, or state which are actively engaged in the installation, maintenance
or repair of public improvements or streets or the rendering of other
governmental services.
E. Public utility exception. This parking restriction
shall not apply to vehicles owned or operated by a public utility
company actively engaged in the installation, maintenance or repair
of public utilities.
No person shall cause or permit to be parked any motor vehicle upon the streets described between the hours specified on the days listed in Schedule 20 of Article
X, attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall park a vehicle for longer than the time limit between the hours listed on any day (except Sundays and public holidays) upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in Schedule 22 of Article
X, attached to and made a part of this chapter.
Any motor vehicle parked in violation of this
article shall be deemed a nuisance and a hazard to the free flow of
traffic and the proper regulation of it. Any police officer may arrange
for the removal and storage of such motor vehicle. The owner shall
bear the reasonable costs of removal and storage of the motor vehicle.
Unless another penalty is expressly provided
by New Jersey Statute, any person who shall be convicted of parking
a vehicle in violation of this article shall pay a fine of $12 for
each offense.
