Every contractor involved in a specialty field not classified as a general
contractor shall be subject to the requirements and regulations of this chapter.
Licenses may be issued to applicants who can:
A. Satisfy the issuing agent by demonstration of competence,
by submission of two references from other official licensing authorities
or by virtue of having practiced their trade for a length of time sufficient
to satisfy the issuing agent of competence in the trade.
B. Produce official evidence of having satisfactorily completed
a course of instruction in their respective trade or have completed or are
within reasonable proximity of completing an apprenticeship in their trade.
The fee for such contractors shall be as set forth in Chapter
91, Fees.
