No person shall ride upon any part of a vehicle
not designed or intended for use of passengers. This provision shall
not apply to an employee engaged in the necessary discharge of his
duty, or to a person riding within truck bodies in space intended
for merchandise.
No person riding upon any bicycle, motorcycle,
sled, roller skates or any toy vehicle shall attach the same or himself
to any moving vehicle upon any roadway.

For the purpose of trial, the Selectboard may
make temporary rules, regulations and orders regulating traffic, or
test under actual conditions, traffic signs, signals, markings, or
other devices. No such experimental regulation, rule or order relating
to traffic, shall remain in effect for a period longer than 60 days.
If any vehicle is found upon any street in violation
of these provisions, rules, regulations or orders, and the identity
of the driver cannot be had or determined, the owner or the registrant
of such vehicle, shall be prima facie responsible for such violation.
