In the interests of the public health and sanitation
and in order to ensure that public highways in the Town of Galway
are clean and free from refuse, debris and/or garbage, it is hereinafter
illegal to transport trash, refuse debris and/or garbage along public
highways in the Town of Galway, except within an enclosed vehicle
or under a securely fastened cover on all other vehicles.
Operators of vehicles cited in violation of
this Article shall be subject to a fifty-dollar fine, and/or up to
five days of community service.
