Editor's Note: This local law was approved at referendum 11-4-1986.
This article shall be known and may be cited as Local Law No. 2, 1986,
a local law superseding and amending § 24 of the Town Law of the
State of New York providing for the extension of the term of office of the
Town Clerk from its present two-year term to a four-year term.
This article shall take effect upon being filed in the Office of the
Secretary of State and the Office of the Comptroller of the State of New York,
as provided in the Municipal Home Rule Law.
