When outside and unattended, all animals shall be kept in fenced enclosures
suitable to provide their secure containment completely within the property
boundaries. Measures such as fencing and signage shall be provided to minimize
public access to the fenced animals, and animals shall be fenced in such a
manner as to prevent any damage to abutting property, trees or shrubbery.
Runoff from paddocks, manure storage and composting areas shall be retained
on site and, wherever possible, directed and infiltrated to the subsurface
through a grass buffer strip. Construction of paddock areas shall provide
adequate drainage to prevent accumulation of standing liquids.
