Town of Rosendale, NY Chapter 8B Drug-Free School Zones

§ 8B-1 Legislative findings; prohibited acts.

A. The Town Board of the Town of Rosendale hereby declares its implacable opposition to the illegal sale of any controlled substance on or near school grounds and supports severe penalties for such acts.

B. The Town Board of the Town of Rosendale declares its support for full and strict law enforcement of all laws designed to prevent illegal sale of controlled substances within said Drug-Free School Zone and its support for increased criminal penalties for sale of controlled substances within said zone.

§ 8B-2 Posting of signs.

The Town Board of the Town of Rosendale authorizes the Superintendent of Highways to prepare and place appropriate signs to be posted at:

A. Rosendale Elementary School, Lucas Avenue.

B. St. Peter's School, Keator Avenue.

C. BOCES Vocational School, Grist Mill Road.
