This chapter is enacted to regulate the sale
and transportation of alcoholic beverages in the Township of Byram
in accordance with the provisions of an Act of the Legislature of
the State of New Jersey entitled "An Act Concerning Alcoholic Beverages,"
comprising Chapter 436 of the Laws of 1933, its supplements and amendments,
and also comprising N.J.S.A. 33:1-1 et seq., and in accordance with
the rules and regulations of the Director of the Division of Alcoholic
Beverage Control.

Fees for plenary retail consumption licenses and plenary retail distribution licenses shall be as set forth in Chapter
A287, Fees.

There shall be no licenses in effect in the
Township other than 12 plenary retail consumption licenses and one
plenary retail distribution license.

No minor shall be allowed in any premises where
alcoholic beverages are sold or served for consumption on the premises
unless accompanied by his parent or guardian or unless seated at a
table in a restaurant for the purpose of dining.
