The salary of the Mayor of the Village of Skaneateles
is hereby decreased to $5,000 per year, effective April 3, 2017.
The salary of the Trustees of the Village of
Skaneateles, other than the Mayor, is hereby increased to $3,000 per
year. The salary increase for Trustees shall become effective upon
the expiration of the current terms of office of the incumbent Trustees
on April 2, 2001, and April 1, 2002.

A.
This article may be contested only if the provisions
of law which should be complied with at the date of publication of
this article are not substantially complied with and an action, suit
or proceeding contesting such validity is commenced within 45 days
of such publication.
B.
This article is not subject to a permissive or mandatory
referendum because the foregoing salary adjustments shall not become
effective during the current term of office of an incumbent Mayor
or Trustee.
C.
This article shall take effect upon its adoption by
the Board of Trustees and filing with the office of the Secretary
of State. However, the salary adjustments authorized hereby shall
only take effect on the dates set forth above.
