A. 
All recreation places with the exception of the Troxell Park, as defined in this chapter, or any one of them shall be closed from 10:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m. the following day during the months from May 1 through October 31, and from 7:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m. the following day during the months from November 1 through April 30, and all persons found within recreation place or places during said hours shall be guilty of violating this chapter, and shall be subject to the penalties herein provided.
B. 
With respect to Troxell Park, Troxell Park shall be closed from 9:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m. the following day during the months from May 1 through October 31, and from 7:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m. the following day during the months from November 1 through April 30, and all persons found within Troxell Park during said hours shall be guilty of violating this chapter, and shall be subject to the penalties herein provided.
This chapter shall affect the hours of closing of all recreational places located in the Township of Hanover, County of Northampton, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Wherever in this chapter provisions are made regulating a use between certain hours, it is the intention of the Township of Hanover that the time first set forth shall be that time in the afternoon or evening of one day, and the prohibition shall be in effect and carry forth to the morning of the following day.
A. 
The effective hours of closing of recreational places, as defined more fully in § 124-1, shall not apply to any special recreational activities which are approved by the Board of Supervisors of Hanover Township, Northampton County, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
B. 
Where such special recreational activities have been approved by the Board of Supervisors, the hours of closing shall be determined in each instance by the Board of Supervisors.

Any person who violates or permits a violation of this chapter shall, upon conviction in a summary proceeding brought before a District Justice under the Pennsylvania Rules of Criminal Procedure, be guilty of a summary offense and shall be punishable by a fine of not less than $100 nor more than $1,000, plus costs of prosecution. In default of payment thereof, the defendant may be sentenced to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 90 days. Each day or portion thereof that such violation continues or is permitted to continue shall constitute a separate offense, and each section of this chapter that is violated shall also constitute a separate offense.
