No person or persons, firm or corporation shall
move or cause to be moved from any place within the Township of Lower
Saucon to another place therein or to any place beyond the limits
thereof a substantial part of household goods or commercial goods
not in the ordinary course of business without first securing from
the finance office of the Township of Lower Saucon a permit for such
moving or transportation.
Any person or persons, firm or corporation desiring
such a permit for the removal or transportation of household goods
or commercial goods in the manner above described shall make application
at the finance office of the Township of Lower Saucon, setting forth
his, its or their name and address and also setting forth the names
of the owners or reputed owners of the property to be moved, the address
and locations from which the property is to be removed and the new
address or location of the place to which the property is to be delivered.
The finance office of the Township of Lower
Saucon, upon application being made, shall issue a permit for which
a charge, as set from time to time by resolution or ordinance, as
may be required by law, will be made, setting forth the name or names and address
as stated in second paragraph of this chapter.

Any person who fails to voluntarily pay within
10 days to the Township the penalty imposed for violation of this
chapter shall be subject to a civil enforcement proceeding. Any person
who violates or permits a violation of this chapter, upon being found
liable therefor in a civil enforcement proceeding, shall pay a fine
of not more than $600, plus all court costs, including reasonable
attorney's fees, incurred by the Township in the enforcement of this
chapter. No judgment shall be imposed until the date of the determination
of the violation by the Magisterial District Judge and/or Court. If
the defendant neither pays nor timely appeals the judgment, the Township
may enforce the judgment pursuant to the applicable rules of civil
procedure. Each day a violation exists shall constitute a separate
offense. Further, the appropriate officers or agents of the Township
are hereby authorized to seek equitable relief, including injunction,
to enforce compliance herewith.
