It shall be unlawful for any person to bury, accumulate or burn any garbage or refuse on premises within the Village.
It shall be unlawful for any person within the Village to maintain any dump or permit the dumping of garbage, boxes, cartons, automobile parts, except as may be permitted in Chapter 288, Zoning, or to permit the accumulation or scattering of any kind of rubbish, debris or waste material of any sort, on or about any lawn, vacant lot, alley, backyard or in any building, structure, culvert or stream in the Village or to throw or cause to be thrown or deposited any such junk, refuse or garbage at any place in the Village.
It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to maintain any manure pile at any place within the Village, except that the reasonable use of fertilizer for lawns and gardens is not prohibited.
Any person committing an offense against any provision of this article shall, upon conviction thereof, be guilty of a violation pursuant to the Penal Law of the State of New York, punishable by a fine not exceeding $250 or by imprisonment for a term not exceeding 15 days, or by both such fine and imprisonment. The continuation of an offense against the provisions of this article shall constitute, for each day the offense is continued, a separate and distinct offense hereunder.
