No person shall leave outside of any building or dwelling, in a place
accessible to children, any abandoned, unattended or discarded icebox, refrigerator,
freezing unit, chest or any other container of a similar kind and size, equipped
with a tight-fitting door or doors or door-locking or -latching devices, or
both, unless the same have first been removed therefrom in such a manner that
such icebox, refrigerator, freezing unit, chest or container would thereby
become so dismantled as to be harmless to children who might become locked
or trapped therein.
Any person violating any of the terms or provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction, be liable to a penalty as prescribed in §
1-3.
