A permit shall be required for planting, spraying,
pruning, removing or otherwise disturbing any tree within a public
right-of-way. The Tree Warden, with the advice of the Tree Commission,
may issue a permit, provided that the proposed method and workmanship
shall be of a satisfactory nature and the project shall be consistent
with this chapter. Any permit shall be deemed null and void if its
terms are violated. The Tree Warden shall be notified by the bearer
of said permit upon satisfactory completion of designated work.
A permit shall contain a decisive date of expiration
and applicable work shall be completed within the time allowed in
the permit and in the manner described.
