An ordinance establishing a code regulating
the installation, maintenance, repair and control of plumbing and
the connection thereof with outside sewers, cesspools and other receptacles;
regulating the practice of plumbing and issuance of licenses to practice
plumbing and providing penalties for the violation thereof is hereby
adopted. A copy of the code is annexed hereto and made a part hereof
without the inclusion of the text herein.
The code established and adopted by this chapter
is Part E, Plumbing, of the Standard Building Code of New Jersey printed
in the year 1955 by the State of New Jersey. Department of Conservation
and Economic Development, approved November 16, 1964, by the State
Department of Health and described and commonly known as the "Plumbing
Code of New Jersey (Revised 1964)."
Three copies of the said Plumbing Code of New
Jersey (Revised 1964) have been placed on file in the office of the
Health Officer of the Town of Boonton upon the introduction of this
chapter and will remain on file there for the use and examination
by the public so long as said chapter is in effect.
