Trucks with a gross vehicle weight rating or gross registered weight in excess of five tons are hereby excluded from all streets in the Borough of Franklin Lakes with the exception of county roads and with the exception of those trucks picking up and/or delivering materials to a location on a street.
The streets or parts of streets described in Schedule VI attached to and made a part of this chapter are hereby designated as one-way streets in the direction indicated.
Pursuant to the provisions of N.J.S.A. 39:4-140, the streets or parts of streets described in Schedule VII attached to and made a part of this chapter are hereby designated as through streets. Stop signs shall be installed on the near right side of each street intersecting the through street except where yield signs having sides 36 inches in length are provided for in the designations.

Pursuant to the provisions of N.J.S.A. 39:4-140, the intersections described in Schedule VIII attached to and made a part of this chapter are hereby designated as stop intersections. Stop signs shall be installed as provided therein.
Pursuant to the provisions of N.J.S.A. 39:4-140, the intersections described in Schedule IX attached to and made a part of this chapter are hereby designated as yield intersections. Yield signs having sides 36 inches in length shall be installed as provided therein.
Pursuant to the provisions of N.J.S.A. 39:4-140 and other relevant New Jersey statutes, a midblock crosswalk is hereby established on Franklin Avenue 530 feet east of Ewing Avenue.
The locations described in Schedule X attached to and made a part of this chapter are hereby designated as loading zones.
The locations described in Schedule XI attached to and made a part of this chapter are hereby designated as taxi stands.
The locations described in Schedule XII attached to and made a part of this chapter are hereby designated as bus stops.
No person shall make a left turn at any of the locations described in Schedule XIII attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall make a U-turn at any of the locations described in Schedule XIV attached and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall make a turn at any of the locations described in Schedule XV attached to and made a part of this chapter.

No person shall make a right turn when facing a steady red signal (STOP) indication whenever an official sign is presented prohibiting such turn on the red signal as described in Schedule XVI.

The lane locations described in Schedule XVII, attached to and made a part of this chapter are designated as lane use reservations and traffic shall move only as indicated.
A. 
The streets or parts of streets described in Schedule XVIII attached to and made a part of this chapter shall have the speed limits designated in such schedule.
B. 
Regulatory and warning signs shall be erected and maintained to effect the above designated speed limits as authorized by the Department of Transportation.

Traffic control signals shall be installed and operated at the locations described in Schedule XIX attached to and made a part of this chapter.

The traffic signal installation shall be in accordance with the provisions of An Act Concerning Motor Vehicles and Traffic Regulations, Subtitle 1 of Title 39 of the New Jersey Revised Statutes, shall conform to the design and shall be maintained in operation, as authorized by the Department of Transportation of the State of New Jersey.

A. 
The access roads described in Schedule XX attached and made a part of this chapter shall be used by emergency vehicles only. For purposes of this section, "emergency vehicles" shall be defined as police vehicles, Fire Department vehicles, ambulances, Department of Public Works vehicles, and vehicles of members of the Fire Department and Ambulance Corps that are responding to an emergency call. In addition, any resident with a driveway that exits on an access road shall be permitted to use the access road.
B. 
Any person who violates this section shall, upon conviction thereof, pay a fine of not more than $200.
