In accordance with the provisions of N.J.S.A.
40A:9-140.1 et seq., the position of Chief Financial Officer of this
municipality is hereby created. The term of office shall be for one
year.

The Chief Financial Officer shall be the finance officer who
has been certified, as such, in accordance with the procedures, rules
and regulations of the Division of Local Government Services. The
position of Chief Financial Officer is created in order to carry out
the responsibilities, duties and obligations set forth in N.J.A.C.
5:32-2.1 and as may be amended.
The Chief Financial Officer shall be compensated
in accordance with the local municipal salary ordinance. Said officer
shall be appointed by the Township Committee.
