There shall be and there is hereby established the office of the Town
Engineer. Said Town Engineer shall be appointed by the Town Manager and shall
be selected on the basis of ability to perform the duties of his office.
The Town Engineer shall perform such duties as may be required of him
under the supervision and direction of the Town Manager. He shall maintain
and keep on file the engineering records of the Town and such records shall
be the property of the Town.
