The following definitions shall apply in the interpretation and enforcement
of this chapter:
MOTORIZED VEHICLE
Any vehicle, except Town-owned vehicles, propelled or drawn by any
power other than muscular power, and shall include but is not limited to automobiles,
trucks, buses, motorcycles, minibikes, go-carts, snowmobiles, three-wheel
vehicles, trailers and campers.
PERSON
Any individual, corporation, association, partnership, company, firm
or other aggregation of individuals.
TOWN PROPERTY
Any and all real property owned by, leased to or in the possession
and/or under the control of the Town of Farmington or any agency, board, commission
or committee of the Town.

No person shall permit or cause a motorized vehicle to be on Town property,
and no person shall operate or cause to be operated a motorized vehicle on
Town property between the hours of sunset and sunrise, except in authorized
areas and except that a motor vehicle properly registered with the Motor Vehicle
Department may be on or may be operated on roads and parking lots designated
by the Town for which said roads and parking lots were intended to be utilized.
Notwithstanding any other provisions hereof, snowmobiles may be operated
on those areas of Town property designated by the Town Manager for the operation
of snowmobiles at such times as three or more inches of snow covers the area.

Any owner or operator of any motorized vehicle violating the provisions
of this chapter shall be fined not more than $25.

This chapter has been specifically designated for enforcement by citations issued by designated municipal officers or employees, and the citation hearing procedure established by Chapter
91 of the Farmington Code shall be followed.
