[HISTORY: Adopted by the Town of Ellington 6-30-1970. Amendments noted where applicable.]
Pursuant to § 8-207 of the General Statutes of Connecticut,[1] 1958 Revision, as amended, a Community Development Action Plan Agency is hereby established, hereinafter called the "Agency." Said Agency shall consist of five members who shall serve without compensation. Members of said Agency shall be designated in the manner prescribed by § 8-207(c), Connecticut General Statutes, and shall include the First Selectman of the Town as a voting member ex officio. Vacancies in said Agency shall be filled in the manner prescribed by § 8-207(c), Connecticut General Statutes.

The Agency shall elect from among its members a Chairman, Vice Chairman, a Secretary and a Treasurer. The offices of Secretary and Treasurer may be combined.
The Agency shall have all powers necessary to carry out all the purposes of Chapter 133 of the General Statutes of Connecticut, 1958 Revision, as amended.
