As used in this article, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
NONCOMMERCIAL SOLICITOR
A person who sells goods or services or who requests contributions, the proceeds of which are devoted exclusively to the purposes of a philanthropic, charitable, or religious organization.
With the exception of the time and fingerprinting matters set forth below, all of the provisions of the ordinances of the Township of Burlington dealing with solicitation, as set forth in § 407-1 et seq., shall be applicable to noncommercial solicitors as defined above.
Noncommercial solicitors, as defined above, shall be entitled to conduct solicitations under the terms of this chapter between the hours of 9:00 a.m. through 9:00 p.m.
Noncommercial solicitors shall not be obligated to have their fingerprints taken as a requirement of obtaining a license under this chapter.
