Township of Washington, NJ Article III Duplicate Tax Bills and Tax Title Certificates

§ 80-44 Fees.

A. Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 54:4-64(d) the Washington Township Tax Collector is hereby authorized to charge mortgage companies a fee of $5 for the first duplicate tax bill and $25 for each subsequent duplicate copy of the same tax bill in the same fiscal year.

B. Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 54:5-52.1, the Washington Township Tax Collector is hereby authorized to charge, and collect at the office of the Tax Collector, $100 for each duplicate tax title certificate issued due to loss or destruction of the original tax title certificate.

§ 80-45 Authority to adopt rules and regulations.

The Director of the Division of Taxation shall promulgate regulations to effectuate this provision.
