No person shall hold any outdoor activity without first obtaining
a license from the Township Council.

If the outdoor activity is held on property other than property
owned by the applicant, the applicant shall submit with the application
a notarized letter from the property owner authorizing the use of
said property to hold the outdoor activity. The letter must include
dates and times outdoor activity is to be held.

The applicant must submit with the application a certificate
of liability insurance, in the amount of $1,000,000, per each occurrence,
naming the Township of Wayne as an additional insured. The applicant
shall also submit an indemnification and hold harmless agreement,
which shall be furnished by the Township.
The license issued pursuant to this article shall be valid for
a period of six calendar days from the date of issuance of the license.
The sponsor shall not permit or allow any games of skill, games
of chance and/or gambling in any form to be engaged in on the site
of the outdoor activity unless the sponsor has obtained a license
from the Township Council issued pursuant to N.J.S.A. 5:8-100 et seq.

In addition to the payment of the license fee required by this
article, should the event be held on Township property, the sponsor
shall deposit with the Township Clerk a cash bond of $1,000 to ensure
the prompt cleanup and removal of all equipment, trash and debris
from the site of the outdoor activity within 24 hours of the conclusion
of the event. Said bond to be released upon compliance with the terms
of this article.

Upon applicant's written request, the Township Council may waive
the application fee for an outdoor activity license for any nonprofit
organization.
