The official year of the Village of Endicott, New York, shall begin at 12:00 noon on the first day of January and end on the first day of each January thereafter, commencing on the first day of January 1948.
The term of office of the Mayor shall be for four official years, commencing at 12:00 noon on the first day of January following his election and terminating at 12:00 noon on the first day of the fourth January thereafter.
The term of office of each Trustee hereafter elected pursuant to this Article shall be for two official years, commencing at 12:00 noon on the first day of January following their respective elections and terminating at 12:00 noon on the first day of the second January thereafter.
The term of office of each Village Justice hereafter elected pursuant to this article shall be for four official years commencing at 12:00 noon on the first day of January following his election and terminating at 12:00 noon on the first day of the fourth January thereafter.
The annual meeting of the Board of Trustees shall be held at 7:30 p.m. on the first Monday in January of the year 1948 and each year thereafter, except that if said day shall fall upon the first day of January in any year, then said Board of Trustees shall meet at 7:30 p.m. the following day, and such meeting shall be known as the "annual meeting of the Board of Trustees."
