Pursuant to Village Law § 3-301, Subdivision 2c, the Board
of Trustees establishes the position of Director of Human Resources as a "public
office" in the Village of Endicott.
The term of the Public Office of Director of Human Resources shall be
one year; the first term shall commence immediately and terminate at the end
of 1999; thereafter the one-year terms shall coincide with the calendar year.
The appointed office of Director of Human Resources may be filled by
an appointment of a person who resides outside the Village of Endicott, but
within the boundaries of Broome County, New York.
