[Adopted 10-23-1989 by L.L. No. 5-1989
as Ch. 39, Art. III, of the 1989 Code]
The Mayor and any one member of the Board of Trustees as the Mayor shall
from time to time appoint, and/or an independent labor negotiator authorized
by the Mayor and the Board of Trustees to negotiate on their behalf, shall
act as the negotiating team for the Village to negotiate collectively with
the several recognized employee organizations representing the employees of
the Village, in connection with the determination of and administration of
grievances arising under the terms and conditions of employment of the Village
employees represented by said organizations respectively.
The affected department heads are requested to furnish technical information
during and in the course of such collective negotiations.
Nothing herein shall be deemed to authorize or permit any of said Village
officers to finally commit or legally bind the Village with respect to the
items and topics of such collective negotiations.
