The purpose and intent of establishing the Wellhead, Aquifer Recharge and Watershed Protection Zones described below are to minimize the potential for contamination of the aquifer which currently supplies or in the future may supply water to the residents of the Village of Endicott. In promoting the general intent of these regulations, the specific intent is:
A. 
To protect and maintain groundwater quality in the protection districts tributary to the wells that supply water to the residents of the Village of Endicott.
B. 
To protect the general health and safety of the residents of the Village of Endicott.
