It is the policy of the Village of Thomaston not to discriminate in
employment or in any other activity of the village on the basis of race, creed,
national origin, age, gender, religion or disability. Where such characteristics
relate to a bona fide occupational qualification and where such discrimination
is not otherwise prohibited by law, the village may engage in appropriate
distinctions based upon such characteristics where it is deemed appropriate
or necessary to do so. All employees of the village are expected to conduct
their activities in compliance with this policy statement.
