GENERAL REFERENCES
Alcoholic beverages — See Ch. 54.
Peddling and soliciting — See Ch. 140.
No person shall engage in any of the following conduct within the boundaries of a public park in the Village of Thomaston:
A. 
Entering or using said park facility without a valid identification card or refusing to produce a valid identification card upon lawful request when such identification cards are required by the authority having jurisdiction over the management of such park.
B. 
Entering or remaining in such park prior to the hour of 7:00 a.m. or after the hour of 9:00 p.m. on any day except with the express permission of the authority having jurisdiction over the management of such park.
C. 
Entering or leaving such park through an entrance or exit other than one established for such purposes by the authority having jurisdiction over the management of such park.
D. 
Bringing any dog or other animal into or causing or permitting a dog or other animal to enter or remain within such park.
E. 
Using, possessing, selling, giving away or otherwise dispensing any narcotic or dangerous drug, except that such drug may be used or possessed pursuant to a lawful prescription for such purpose.
F. 
Bringing any alcoholic beverage into such park or consuming any alcoholic beverage within such park.
G. 
Mutilating, defacing or damaging the property of another person or entity without the express permission of such person or entity.
H. 
Breaking, cutting, removing or injuring any flower, shrub, tree or other planting in such park without the express permission of the authority responsible for the management of such park.
I. 
Dumping or depositing any bottle, glass container, can, metal, paper, garbage, rubbish or debris within such park except in a receptacle provided for that purpose.
J. 
Vending, hawking, peddling or distributing any merchandise or circulating any advertising matter of any kind or posting any signs, bills or placards within any such park without the written permission of the authority responsible for the management of such park; provided, however, that this subsection shall not be construed to prohibit any such conduct where such conduct is permitted pursuant to the constitution of the United States or the State of New York.
K. 
Calling, assembling or holding any public meeting of ten (10) or more persons except with the written permission of the authority having responsibility for the management of such park; provided, however, that this subsection shall not be construed to prohibit any such conduct where such conduct is permitted pursuant to the constitution of the United States or the State of New York.
L. 
Firing or discharging or causing the firing or discharge of any firearm.
M. 
Casting or throwing any arrow, dart, stone or similar missile.
N. 
Riding or operating any motor vehicle, motorcycle, motorbike or bicycle or other mechanically or electrically powered conveyance in such park except in areas designated for such purpose by the authority having responsibility for the management of such park; provided, however, that this subsection shall not be construed to prohibit the operation of gasoline or electrically powered conveyances for the transport of disabled persons.
