Village of Shorewood, WI Article IV Treasurer

§ 109-9 Office created; appointment.

The office of the Village Treasurer is hereby created. The head of this office shall be known as the "Village Treasurer" in accordance with the provisions of Charter Ordinance No. 12 of the Village of Shorewood. The Village Treasurer shall be appointed by the Village Board. The Village Treasurer shall have such clerical and other assistance as may be made available by the Village Board.

§ 109-10 Duties and responsibilities.

A. The Village Treasurer shall be responsible for the collection and disbursement of all Village money in accordance with ordinance and Wisconsin Statutes.

B. The Village Treasurer shall be responsible for preparation, maintenance and custodianship of such financial forms, records and reports as required by ordinance and Wisconsin Statutes.
