Special Act No. 232, House Bill No. 2324.
An act authorizing the Town of Wilton to establish a retirement system
for Town employees.

Be it enacted by the Senate and
House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

There shall be in the Town of Wilton a retirement
system for the salaried employees of the Town to supplement benefits
payable to the covered employees by the Social Security Act of 1939,
as amended or as it may be amended in the future. The retirement system
shall be governed by the terms and conditions of the pension plan
adopted by a Town meeting of the Town of Wilton on June 19, 1960.
The cost for the funding of the retirement system
shall be paid from the general funds of the Town.
All acts relating to said pension plan of the
Wilton Town Meeting, the Board of Select-men of said Town and the
Trustees of said pension plan, from the date of the adoption of said
plan on June 19, 1960, to the effective date of this act, are validated.
