[HISTORY: Adopted by the Board of Selectmen
of the Town of Wilton5-19-2014 in accordance with §§ 8-36a and 4-124j of the Connecticut
General Statutes and Section 249 of Public Act 13-247. This ordinance
memorializes the Town of Wilton's withdrawal from the South West Regional
Planning Agency and its vote to join the Western Connecticut Council
of Governments.[1]. Amendments noted where applicable.]

Editor's Note: This ordinance replaces former Ch. 25A, Regional
Planning Agency, adopted by the Wilton Town Meeting 10-26-1976.
The Town of Wilton hereby declares its intent
to withdraw from the South Western Regional Planning Association on
June 30, 2014, and such withdrawal will be final six months thereafter
on December 31, 2014.
The Town of Wilton hereby votes to join the
Western Connecticut Council of Governments, effective January 1, 2015,
and toward that end formally adopts Sections 4-124i to 4-124p, inclusive,
of the Connecticut General Statutes, in accordance with the procedures
set forth in Section 4-124j of the Connecticut General Statutes.
