Any vehicle parked in violation of this chapter
shall be deemed a nuisance and a menace to the safe and proper regulation
of traffic, and any peace officer may provide for the removal of such
vehicle. The owner shall bear the reasonable costs of removal before
regaining possession of the vehicle.

Any person violating or failing to comply with
any of the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof,
be punishable by a fine of $100 for the first offense, and for subsequent
offenses a fine of at least $100 and not more than $2,000, or by imprisonment
for a term not exceeding 90 days, or community service for a term
not exceeding 90 days. The continuation of such violation for each
successive day shall constitute a separate offense, and the person
or persons allowing or permitting the continuation of the violation
may be punished as provided above for each separate offense.
If any part or parts of this chapter are, for
any reason, held to be invalid, such decision shall not affect the
validity of the remaining portions of this chapter.
All former traffic ordinances of the Township
of Egg Harbor are hereby repealed, except that this repeal shall not
affect or prevent the prosecution or punishment of any person for
any act done or committed in violation of any ordinance hereby repealed
prior to the taking effect of this chapter.
