Coasting and riding and sliding downhill on
hand sleighs, sleds or other vehicles not attached to horses is hereby
forbidden on Church, Market and Wall Streets in the City of Amsterdam,
under the penalty of $1 for the first offense and under the penalty
of $2 for each and every subsequent offense.
The Common Council may, however, exempt any
other street or streets from the operation of this article, by resolution.

It shall hereafter be unlawful for any person
or persons to engage in the practice of coasting on either Pulling
or Schuyler Streets in said city. Any person violating this section
shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.
