For purposes of this article only, the term "vehicle" shall include all motor vehicles capable of registration under the New York Vehicle and Traffic Law, as well as off-road or all-terrain vehicles, trailers, carts, boats or any other item capable of or outfitted to travel on roads or highways.
A. 
It shall be unlawful to park a vehicle for purposes of sale within the right-of-way of any street, road, way or highway within the bounds of the Village of Sagaponack.
B. 
It shall be unlawful to park a vehicle for purpose of sale on any public or private property without prior written consent of the owner of said property, and said written consent shall be on file with the Village Clerk 24 hours prior to said vehicle being offered for sale.
The display on or about the vehicle of any sign, sticker, writing or other indication that the vehicle is for sale shall be presumptive evidence that said vehicle is parked or displayed for purposes of sale.
Each day said vehicle is parked or displayed in violation of § 215-33 shall constitute a separate and distinct offense, and, in addition, any vehicle so parked or displayed in violation of § 215-33 for 24 hours shall be considered an abandoned vehicle, pursuant to § 1224 of the New York State Vehicle and Traffic Law. If said vehicle is deemed abandoned, the vehicle may be removed at the owner's expense.
